decorating book - This book was easy to find and was a gift for christmas. recieved it ust a few days. she loved and was excited about the contents. I glanced at it and got afew ideas myself from the book. thank you

Domino is my favorite! - I LOVE Domino magazine and this book is a perfect companion! If you love decorating ideas and cool, creative articles to inspire you, then this book and the magazine are for you!

Great inspiration & guidance to decorating your home - I love this book for various reasons:1) Well structured - starts off with a how to get started, followed by one chapter for each key room in the house, concludes with guides on resources2) Each section boils down certain aspect to general terms that are very helpful with your own designs (e.g. shapes of sofas)3) Great photos4) Different styles covered in each sectionI disagree with a previous reviewer who states that this is only for young people in their 20 s - it may not be a book for someone who likes very traditional designs but I would not put any age restriction on it. If you like to have a bit of fun with your designs you will like this book. One thing I want to make sure that you understand before you buy this book - this is not a shopping guide that gives you details on where to buy particular pieces which you might expect when you are a subscriber to Domino magazine. So you get ideas from this book but will have to do your own research where to find the pieces that fit your budget (which is half of the fun of it - don t you think!)This book will get your creative juices flowing and if that is what you are looking for, I highly recommend it as a staple for your own library and as a go-to-gift.

Dynamite!!! - I ve seen this magazine a few times and have picked it up as often, so I was thrilled to see that it was available as a Vine product. I live in a huge apartment and I live alone so I was stumped for decorating ideas that really showcased who I was and what I cared about. This book has it all - ideas for those on a budget to those who can spend whatever and when they want, and you will never run out of ideas, only time! I highly recommend this book for amateurs AND professionals looking to be even more creative with clients and even themselves.Five stars!

Great photos - As almost all reviewers have noted, the Domino style is pretty consistent-clean, colorful, eclectic, nothing fussy unless it is tongue-in-cheek over-the-top Baroque. I love the magazine, so I loved the book. I would have appreciated a chapter with photos of a few complete homes, so you could see how the owners made an entire apartment or house look cohesive. If you don t know the magazine, visit their website, [...]. Also, I d check out [...] . The creator of that site started out with a small book, Apartment Therapy, about his design philosophy, how to streamline spaces in an 8 week exercise, etc. His newer book is Apartment Therapy Presents, with lots of photos and tips, etc. His website features photos of the readers homes, and great shopping and design tips.
